Salient Features:
2 RCC boxes with internal dimensions of 12m x 7m and 1 RCC box of 10m x 5.5m under running
railway traffic conditions on Delhi- Shahdara section.

 
Total Box Pushing of 24.0 m.

Due to sandy strata box pushing was not feasible. Therefore an arduous task of nailing & grouting was carried out using perforated pipes in order to make the soil more cohesive and execute box pushing. Northern Railway awarded it as most innovative project of year 2010.
